Letter from the President
As the academic year drew to a close, Theta Beta looked back at a year full of both challenges and rewards. Extraordinary efforts from all of our actives; from our seven newly initiated Alpha Epsilons to the graduating seniors, allowed Theta Beta to work through the immense challenges placed before us just a year ago.
Although at times a struggle, Theta Beta has bonded together through the adversity to examine what it truly means to be a Brother of Kappa Kappa Psi. The results of this self reflection include an outstanding new Membership Education program, a new outlook towards our chapters many traditions and a solid footing for us to continue service to the Boston University Band Program. To continue moving forward, we must not just continue to look and reflect on ourselves, but also on how our organization as it is seen by those we serve.
Looking forward, many challenges and exciting opportunities await. Under the new direction of Zachary DeVries, Theta Beta will be asked to used its experience with dealing with change and apply them to the band program, which will see its own changes. As a result, Theta Beta will search out new ways to serve the band as well as improve upon the ways we already serve. Finally, we look forward to the recruitment and education of our newest brothers, the Alpha Zeta class, who will be the start of a new generation for Theta Beta.
Fraternally,
